N. Jean Mills Darlington
ANDERSON– N. Jean Mills Darlington, 84, Warsaw, formerly of Anderson, died at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, Feb. 2, 2012, following a very brief illness.
She was born Feb. 23, 1927, in Madison County, to Clarence and Mae Forney Mills. She married Charles Lewis Darlington, who died in 2008.
She was the secretary for Anderson Aviation, retiring in 1987. She was a member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She volunteered at church and enjoyed playing cards and bowling.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Jean (and spouse James) Pugsley, Mentor, Ohio; a son, David Lewis (and spouse Ann) Darlington, North Webster; a sister-in-law, Charlotte Richardson, Leesburg, Fla.; two grandsons, Marc Pugsley, Ardmore, Pa., and Jason Pugsley, Redondo Beach, Calif.; and life-long special friends Ruth Ellen and John Cook and Evelyn Huntzinger, special neighbors in Camelot Addition. She also was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Ella Marie Hefferman.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with the Rev. Dennis Zirkle, of Meadowbrook Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Calling is from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service, Anderson.
