Motorcyclist In Saturday Crash Suffered Head Injury

Names were released for the accident Saturday on North CR 175E, 1,000 feet north of East CR 175N, Warsaw.
According to the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office accident report, at approximately 8:03 a.m. Saturday, Diana Velazquez, 29, East Armstrong Road, Leesburg, was driving a 2006 Honda Accord and was preparing to turn north onto North CR 175E. She stated she saw a car driving southbound North CR 175E. She pulled out into the road and did not see Ryan M. Sutton, 22, East County Line Road, Syracuse, driving a 2005 Harley-Davidson motorcycle behind the car.
Sutton said he was on North CR 175E when Velazquez pulled into the roadway. Sutton attempted to steer out of the way but was unable to avoid being hit.
Sutton’s motorcycle left the road.
Sutton had a head injury on the right side and he complained or right arm and leg pain. Sutton was flown by Lutheran Air Ambulance to a hospital in Fort Wayne.
