FULTON COUNTY — The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, working in partnership with multiple local and state law enforcement agencies, concluded a months-long narcotics investigation that resulted in two arrests and the seizure of a significant quantity of illegal drugs.
On Tuesday, Aug. 18, members of the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) and assisting agencies executed a search warrant at a residence in the 1200 block of West CR 375N in Fulton County, according to a news release from FCSO.
During the execution of the search warrant, investigators located and seized approximately 2.06 pounds of methamphetamine, 27.3 pounds of marijuana, 3 grams of suspected psilocybin mushrooms, suspected LSD, drug paraphernalia and one firearm.
The primary target of the investigation was identified as Adam Richard, 43, of Rochester. Richard was arrested and booked in the Fulton County Jail on the preliminary charges of:
• Three counts of dealing in methamphetamine — level 2 felony
• Three counts of possession of methamphetamine — level 3 felony
• Maintaining a common nuisance — level 6 felony.
Kayla Graham, 33, of Twelve Mile, was also found inside the residence. Graham was arrested and booked into the Fulton County Jail on a preliminary charge of possession of methamphetamine over 5 grams , a level 5 felony.
Additional charges may be filed through the Fulton County Prosecutor’s Office as investigators continue to review evidence associated with the case, the release states.
Assisting the FCSO were the Indiana State Police, Rochester Police Department, Marshall County Drug Task Force, Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office and Fulton County Prosecutor’s Office.
Chief Deputy Matthew Utter praised the deputies and cooperating agencies involved in the case. Cases like this require significant time, coordination and investigative work, and I’m proud of the effort that brought it to a successful conclusion. Drug trafficking has a destructive impact on our communities, and we will continue using every lawful resource available to investigate and hold those responsible accountable.
