MARION - Monnie Marie Francis Mullins, 70, of Warsaw, went to be with the Lord, Jesus Christ, at 7:05 p.m. June 18, 2010, at Mason Health & Rehab, Warsaw.

She was born March 15, 1940, in Paintsville, Ky., to Hershell and Edna Blanton Francis. On Dec. 18, 1971, in Warsaw, she married Marvin Mullins, who died May 29, 1993.

She was a trust worthy, hard worker, working at various jobs throughout her life. Sometimes working two jobs to make ends meet. She was a devoted friend to all that would let her. She was a born-again believer in Jesus Christ who she loved, and was a member of the Living Hope Ministry.

Surviving are three sisters: Nellie (and spouse Bill) Wildman, Warsaw; Mable (and spouse Howard) Barnhart, Atwood; and Jewell (and spouse the Rev. Lester) Hall, Billings, Mont.; a brother, Lacy Sr. (and spouse Barbra Jean) Francis, Palestine; a sister-in-law, Julia Fay Francis, Palestine; a brother-in-law, Roger (and spouse Pam) Albertson, Warsaw; nieces, including a special niece, Debbie Francis; nephews; three special friends, the Rev. John B. Bell, Karen Heater and Mertal Hopkins; and her canine babies, Spankie, Candy and Hannah Mae. She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved stepmother, Ollie Hall Francis; two sisters, Elsie Pearl Blocker and Helen Albertson; two brothers, Arbie and Harold Francis; and a stepbrother, Johnny Hall.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Living Hope Ministry with the Revs. Wayne Whitaker, William Whitaker and John Bell officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

Calling is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the church.

Casey Lloyd Funeral Home, 2901 S. Washington St., Marion, is in charge of arrangements.
