ROCHESTER – Minnie Donnabell McGlothin, 87, of 909 Clover St., Rochester, died at 2:30 a.m. Nov. 22, 2011, in Hickory Creek Senior Care, where she lived for the past two years and had been in declining health.
She was born Jan. 4, 1924, in Rochester, to Lester and Rose Mikesell. On April 1, 1943, in Rochester, she married John Clay McGlothin, who died Oct. 20, 1992.
She lived most of her life in this community. She retired from Torin Corp. and was a member of Macy Christian Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Dawn Rogers, Smyrna, Del.; a son, Richard McGlothin, Rochester; five granddaughters; six great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a son.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester. Burial will be in Rochester IOOF Cemetery.
