Michael M. “Mike” Donovan, 61, Warsaw, passed away at 9:56 p.m. Nov. 21, 2014, in Parkview Regional Hospital, Fort Wayne.
He was born April 12, 1953, in Goshen, to Robert and Helen Bontrager Donovan.
He was a lifetime Warsaw resident. He earned an associate’s degree in communications from Ball State University, where he was a member of Theta Xi fraternity. In addition he attended broadcasting school in Columbus, Ohio. He was employed by WRSW Radio in advertising sales and was formerly a sales manager for Warsaw Motors and employed by Brown’s automotive and Munson Chevrolet, all of Warsaw. He was a member of the Walnut Creek United Methodist Church and the Warsaw Elks Club.
Survivors include a son, Justin (and spouse Raven) Donovan, Warsaw; two brothers, Jerry (and spouse Kay) Donovan, Goshen; and Ron (and spouse Charlene) Donovan, Opp, Ala.; and three grandchildren: Tyis Michael, Aaliyah and Remy Donovan, all of Warsaw. He was preceded by his father, Robert Donovan; his mother and stepfather, Helen and Robert Bennett; and a brother, Robert Donovan.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Violett Cemetery, Goshen, with Chaplain Denny Bollenbacher officiating.
Calling is from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.
