NORTH WEBSTER – Michael A. “Mike” Pavlick, 80, of Warsaw, passed away at 10:42 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4, 2019, at his residence.
He was born on Aug. 18, 1939, in Charleroi, Pa., to Michael and Rose “Rosie” Columbus Pavlick. He grew up in Pennsylvania and attended high school in Pennsylvania and Marion, Ind.
He was a United States Army veteran and was the owner/operator of Mike’s Little Italy and other restaurants in Peru, Wabash, Marion and Windfall, Ind. He formerly lived in Wabash, Peru and Marion areas before moving to the Warsaw area in 1969 from Windfall.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Wabash, Mizpah Shriners in Fort Wayne and American Legion Post 223 in Syracuse.
He is survived by two daughters, Michele (David) Seitz, of Marion, and Denise Pavlick, of Indianapolis; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; companion, Dorothy Marvell, of Muncie; two stepsons, Jerry O’Brien, of Ashley, Ind., and Kerry O’Brien, of Indianapolis; stepdaughter, Sherry (Jeff) Dalton, of Hastings, Mich.; nephew, Buddy Jones, of Marion; lifelong friend, Barb Arlington, of North Webster; and faithful canine companion, Molly.
He was preceded in death by his parents and companion, Judy O’Brien.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11 at Owen Family Funeral Home, Ind. 13 and CR 500N, North Webster, Ind. A masonic service will follow at 2 p.m.
