The Mentone woman involved in Sunday’s motorcycle crash on Ind. 15 has died.
Warsaw Police Department Public Information Officer Chris Francis reported today that according to the Allen County coroner, Heather Hildabridle, 33, Mentone, died Monday as a result of trauma suffered in the crash. No further information was released.
At approximately 7:30 p.m. Sunday, emergency personnel were dispatched to Ind. 15, between CR 300N and CR 350N for a single motorcycle crash, according to a previous news release from the WPD.
The preliminary results of the investigation indicate the 2012 Harley-Davidson Electric Glide Ultra Class motorcycle was traveling south on Ind. 15. The driver - Dustin Cloud, 36, Syracuse - stated he lost control of the motorcycle on loose gravel, ejecting him and his passenger, Hildabridle.
Cloud suffered injuries to the lower leg. Hildabridle suffered injuries to her entire body, the release states. Due to the severity of the injuries, both were airlifted from the scene and flown to a Fort Wayne hospital.
Responding agencies included the WPD, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory, Lutheran EMS, Lutheran Air Ambulance and Parkview Samaritan Air Ambulance.
