ROCHESTER– Melvin “Mel” Lawrence Swango, 67, Rochester, passed away at 2:49 p.m. Oct. 27, 2015, at Woodlawn Hospital. He was born Sept. 26, 1948, in Rochester, to Melvin Earl and Norma Jean Bishop Swango. On March 8, 1986, in Rochester, he married Frankie L. Swope. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester. Burial will be in Rochester IOOF Cemetery.
