Melissa Marie Furnas Robinson, 56, Winona Lake, died at 1:59 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2026.
She was born Aug. 12, 1970, in Hammond, to Linda Lutz and Earl Furnas. She married Brian Robinson, who survives.
Melissa’s life will be celebrated with a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26 at Winona Lake Grace Church, Winona Lake. Friends and family may visit an hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth-Byers Funeral Home, Warsaw.
A second memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 3 at Wesley Chapel, Newman, Ill. After the service, Melissa’s ashes will be scattered at Albin Cemetery.
Those wishing to honor Melissa’s memory may make memorial contributions to Shriners Children’s Hospital, 2211 N Oak Park Ave, Chicago, IL 60707; and the family welcomes memorial gifts toward the creation of a lasting living memorial in Melissa's honor.
