NAPPANEE – Max J. Gwin, 90, Nappanee, died at 1:30 a.m. Dec. 30, 2014. He was born to Wilyard and Mary Ann McGowen Gwin. On Sept. 17, 1946, he married Betty Postma Gwin, who survives in Nappanee. He served in the Navy during World War II. Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Nappanee United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jim Davidson officiating. Military services will be by the Nappanee American Legion. Cremation will take place and inurnment will be in Union Center Cemetery at a later date. Calling is from 3 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the church, and one hour prior to services Saturday.
