NORTH MANCHESTER - Max F. Lambert, 71, of North Manchester, died at 12:47 p.m. July 31, 2008, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
He was born Oct. 14, 1936, in Wabash County, to Riley and Ina Rinehart Lambert. In September 1958, he married Margaret Gable, who survives.
He was a 1955 graduate of Central High School.
Also surviving are three sons, Terry (and spouse Linda), Steve (and spouse Linda) and Mark Lambert, all of North Manchester; a daughter, Susan (and spouse Herschel) Wilhelm, Waterloo; three sisters: Roseann Winger, North Manchester; Lorella (and spouse Bud) Greathouse, Wabash; and Beverly Schnepp, Urbana; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Grandstaff-Hentgen Bender Chapel, North Manchester, with Pastor Darrell Cox officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.
