NAPPANEE - Mary O. Orosz, 91, formerly of Nappanee, died at 9:20 p.m. Feb. 13, 2009, in Miller's Merry Manor, Wakarusa, where she resided.

She was born Dec. 30, 1917, in Kosciusko County, to Glen and Ruth Goshert Steffe. On June 4, 1938, she married Oreal Corl, who died May 23, 1954. On July 6, 1957, she married Michael Francis Orosz, who died March 17, 1984.

A lifetime area resident, she was an Atwood High School graduate. She was a veterinarian assistant in Nappanee and worked at Vitreous and The Corl Corp. She attended North Main Street Mennonite Church and was a member of Nappanee American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars auxiliaries.

Surviving are two sons, Ronald (and spouse Nancy) Corl, Columbus, Ohio, and Dennis (and spouse Shelly) Corl, Syracuse; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a son and two brothers.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at North Main Street Mennonite Church with the Rev. Ruben Chupp officiating. Burial will be in Stony Point Cemetery.

Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
