Mary Margaret CantillonMary Margaret Cantillon, 99, of North Webster, passed away at 7:20 a.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Miller's Merry Manor in Syracuse.

She was born on Dec. 10, 1922, in Marion, to Homer William and Myrtle Marie Herring Wagoner.

She graduated in 1940 from Banquo High School and moved to the North Webster area in 1957. She was married on Sept. 27, 1940, in Marion, to Charles I. Harris, who preceded her in 1967. She then was married on Oct. 27, 1971, in Indianapolis, to Thomas H. "Tom" Cantillon, who preceded her on Jan. 11, 1994. She retired in 1989 from Heaters Inc. in North Webster after 31 years and then worked 14 years at Steffan Enterprises in Pierceton.

She was a member of the St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Syracuse, American Legion Post 253 Auxiliary in North Webster, D.A.V. Auxiliary in Goshen and North Webster Senior Citizens. She was a former member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary in Syracuse, former member and past chief of the Pythian Sisters Lodge in North Webster and past matron of the Order of Eastern Star in LaFountain. She loved to play BINGO and euchre, read and do word search puzzles.

She is loving survived by her five grandchildren: Londa (Marlin) Meredith, of Noblesville; Travis (Rita) Harris, of Syracuse; Charles (Tamara Grawcock) Harris, of Syracuse; Gary Harris, of Pierceton; and Trent Harris, of New Port, Fla.; 14 great-grandchildren and two stepgreat-grandchildren. She will also be missed by her two daughters-in-law: Rita (Bill) Volk and Judy Harris, both of North Webster; along with her sister, Lois Brewer, of Marion.

She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; two sons: Ronald L. and Larry G. Harris; and four brothers: Junior, Darold, Harold and Pete Wagoner.

Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 20 at Owen Family Funeral Home, North Webster. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home with Father Andrew Nazareth. Burial will follow in the Mock Addition of the North Webster Cemetery.
