BOURBON - Mary L. Crago, 72, of Garden Court, Bourbon, died July 14, 2009, in her sister's residence in Plymouth. She had been in failing health.

She was born March 5, 1937, in Wellsville, Ohio, to William and Elva Rice West.

A Bourbon resident for the past 25 years, she formerly worked at Biomet Inc., Warsaw, as an accounts receivable clerk. She graduated from Wells High School, Newell, W.Va., and furthered her education at East Liverpool Business College, Ohio. She enjoyed playing the guitar, country music and her family. When living in West Virginia, she dispatched for the Hancock County Sheriff's Dept.

Surviving are a daughter, Marcy Crago, Wierton, W.Va.; a son, Bret (and spouse Becky) Vanderham, New Cumberland, W.Va.; a grandson, Justin Crago; three sisters, Diane Borroff, Plymouth, and Elsie (and spouse Jim) Palmer and Helen McClintick, all of St. Louis, Mo.; two brothers, John (and spouse Joyce) West, Bourbon, and Denver West, Plymouth; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Nancy Mossier and Pat Ruffing, and a brother, Kenneth West.

Services will be at noon Friday at Deacon-Clemens Funeral Home, 115 S. Main St., Bourbon. Burial will be in New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.
