ROCHESTER – Mary Kathryn Hopkins, 79, formerly of Rochester, died Saturday, March 14, 2020, at Aurora Memorial Hospital, Burlington, Wis.
In Decatur, Ill., on Aug. 11, 1940, Mary was born to Elmer and Louise Sanders Waltz.
Mary joined the United States Air Force to serve our country. As an administrative clerk, she was honorably discharged in 1960 from the Scott Air Force Base in St. Clair County, Ill.
A celebration of the life of Mary K. Hopkins will be at 5 p.m. EST on Saturday, Sept. 26 at the Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester. Chaplain Tood Wilson will officiate. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. EST. Military honors will be accorded by the Fulton County Veteran’s Honor Guard and the U.S. Air Force Honors Team.
