AKRON - Mary Katherine Campbell, 86, of 302 N. Johnson St., Akron, died at 3:15 p.m. Aug. 13, 2010, at her residence.
She was born Nov. 15, 1923, in Miami County, to Harvey and Ida May Achey Walker. On April 12, 1943, in Wabash, she married Raymond Carson "Casey" Campbell, who died in 1982.
She lived in Akron most of her adult life. She worked at Chamberlin Products in Akron for 25 years. She was a past member of Paw Paw United Methodist Church in Miami County.
Surviving are a daughter, Virginia (and spouse Jim) Conliff, Akron; two brothers, Melvin, Wabash, and Clifford, Peru; six grandchildren: Jennifer (and spouse Dan) Smith, Monterey; Chris Shaffer, Raymond (and spouse Jami) Conliff, all of Rochester; Amy (and spouse Matt) Stinson, Mentone; Jennifer (and spouse Bryan) Sheward, Lafontaine; Chris Conliff, Wabash; 13 great-grandchildren: Kacie and Evan Smith, Brodie and Hannah Shaffer, Bryan, Nathan and Sean Stinson, Abby Swell, Bryce Brewer, Brett Issacs, Christopher, Destiny and Andrew Conliff. She was preceded in death by a son, Raymond Campbell Jr.; a daughter, Sandra Kay Campbell Shaffer; a granddaughter, Anita Lynn Shaffer; eight brothers, Donald, Gene, Ralph, Wayne, Robert, Kenneth, Russell, Arthur; and four sisters, Bernice, Beulah, Ethel and Gladys.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Earl-Love Funeral Home, 811 E. Rochester St., Akron, with the Rev. Terry Canfield officiating. Burial will be in Akron Cemetery.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
