NAPPANEE - Mary J. Chupp Hochstetler, 62, of 29416 CR 52, Nappanee, died at 5:20 a.m. April 3, 2009, after a 1-1/2 year battle with cancer.
She was born Nov. 14, 1946, in Nappanee, to Joe and Lydian Chupp. On June 3, 1971, in Nappanee, she married Willie Hochstetler, who survives.
She was a homemaker. She was a lifetime Nappanee resident. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Also surviving are a son, Christie (and spouse Marsha) Hochstetler, Etna Green; two sisters, Edna Chupp, Elkhart, and Ida (and spouse Marvin) Hochstetler, Nappanee; and three grandchildren, all of Etna Green.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the family residence, with Bishop Lonnie Miller officiating. Burial will be in Weldy Cemetery.
Calling is after 1 p.m. today and all day Sunday at the family residence.
The family is being assisted by Home Ministry. Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, is in charge of arrangements.
