SYRACUSE – Mary Fisher, 92, Syracuse, passed away at her home on Friday, May 5, 2017.
She was born June 22, 1924, in Albion, to Frank and Ethel Belt Lemmon. On June 27, 1943, she married Robert Fisher, who preceded her in 1973.
She was a lifelong area resident. Mary was a homemaker as well as a dental assistant in Syracuse and Milford. She was a longtime member of the St. Andrews United Methodist Church, where she was also involved in the St. Andrews Thrift Shop as well as the Church Bible Study Group.
She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. John (Barbara) Hoffman, of Boyne City, Mich.; two sons, Robert (Ali) Fisher, of Talent, Ore., and David (Sandra) Fisher, Shelbyville; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded by two sisters and two brothers.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 1, 2017, at 2 p.m. at the St. Andrews United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service in the parlor. A private graveside committal service will follow.
