GARRETT - Mary C. Able, 79, of Fort Wayne, and formerly of Garrett, died Jan. 16, 2008, in Parkview Hospital.
She was born Dec. 10, 1928, in Peru, to Harry and Helen Clark. On Nov. 8, 1947, in South Whitley, she married David T. Able, who died July 7, 2004.
She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church, Garrett.
Surviving are two daughters, Kathy (and spouse Barth) Ragatz, Fort Wayne, and Pat (and spouse Rick) Rowe, Garrett; a son, Tom Able, Silver Lake; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Thomas Funeral Home, Garrett, with Pastor Phil Mortensen officiating. Burial will be in South Whitley Cemetery.
Calling is one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.
