Mary Ann Teeple, 85, of 110 N. CR 175E, Warsaw, died at 4:35 a.m. April 14, 2009, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.

She was born Sept. 27, 1923, in Milford, to Mary Ann Spicher. She was later adopted by Ray and Elma Utter McCartney. On June 10, 1945, she married Charles Robert "Bob" Teeple, who survives.

She was a lifetime Kosciusko County resident and attended Calvary Baptist Church, Oswego. Years ago she worked at various jobs including Da-Lite Screen and Dyna-Clean, but primarily she was a homemaker who lovingly raised her children. She loved to read, especially the Bible, and books from the church library.

Also surviving are two daughters, Sara (and spouse Tom) Maze, Warsaw, and Barb (and spouse Stan) Zachary, Green Valley, Ariz.; two sons, Rod (and spouse Pat) Teeple, Leesburg, and Jerry Teeple, Lexington, Ohio; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jerry (and spouse Margie) McCartney, Warsaw. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Nancy, who died shortly after birth.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Calvary Baptist Church, Leesburg, with Pastor Rick Smith officiating, assisted by Pastor Jack Teeple. Burial will be in Oswego Cemetery.

Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
