Mary Alice Alcorn, 81, Warsaw, passed away at 10:35 p.m. Oct. 23, 2013, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. She was born Jan. 31, 1932, in Springville, Tenn., to Audie B. and Myrtle Crass Goforth. On Feb. 19, 1955, in Jacksonville, Fla., she married Bruce Keith Alcorn, who survives in Warsaw. She was a 1950 graduate of Andrew Jackson High School in Jacksonville. She moved to Warsaw and lived there from 1975-1987, and worked at Lake City Bank as a teller. She returned in 2005 and resided there until her passing. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church of Warsaw. She will be lovingly remembered by her four sons: David (and spouse Anita) Alcorn, Warsaw; Jonathan (and spouse Jacki) Alcorn, Argos; Timothy (and spouse Isabel) Alcorn, Missouri City, Texas; and Andrew Alcorn, Indianapolis; 12 grandchildren: Kelsey, Ian, Lauren, Kyle, Kayla, Hannah, Emily, Nathanael, Alexander, Mariella, Cassidy and Tate; three brothers: James Goforth, Jerry Goforth and Larry (and spouse Sadie) Goforth, all of Jacksonville; four sisters: Marie (and spouse Lamar) Carter, Mt. Dora, Fla.; Wanda (and spouse Bob) Malone, St. Petersburg, Fla.; Brenda Jewel, Largo, Fla.; and S. Ashley Goforth, Wesley Chapel, Fla. She was preceded in death by her parents. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, with Pastor Layne Sumner officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
