NAPPANEE - Mary A. Miller, 90, of 9411 N. Ind. 19, Etna Green, died at 6:56 p.m. Aug. 23, 2009, in LuAnn Nursing Home.
She was born June 10, 1919, in Franklin, to John B. and Pearl Harlan Applegate. On June 27, 1953, she married Walter Miller, who died Aug. 17, 1995.
She was a 1936 Etna Green High School graduate and attended International Business College, Fort Wayne. She was a homemaker and formerly worked at Studebaker Corp., South Bend, and Coppes Inc., Nappanee. She was a member of Mt. Tabor Church of God.
Surviving are two sons, Earl J. (and spouse Jodie) Miller, Columbus, Ohio, and Ray W. (and spouse Judy) Miller, Nappanee; and three granddaughters.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, with the Rev. Lloyd Harlan officiating. Burial will be in Leesburg Cemetery.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
