NORTH MANCHESTER - Martha M. Jacobs, 88, of Silver Lake, died at 2:35 p.m. Dec. 12, 2008, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
She was born Nov. 10, 1920, in Wabash County, to Wilfred and Ina Price Oldfather. On Feb. 2, 1940, she married Lewis I. Jacobs, who survives.
She was a homemaker and a member of South Pleasant United Methodist Church, Silver Lake, where she was a charter member of United Methodist Women.
Also surviving are two sons, Michael (and spouse Kathleen) Jacobs, Bippus, and Sam Jacobs, Laketon; a daughter, Linda (and spouse Walter) Fulton, Andrews; a sister, Naomi Floor, Silver Lake; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at DeLaughter-McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with Pastor Nikki Marker officiating. Burial will be in South Pleasant Cemetery, Silver Lake.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
