COLUMBIA CITY - Martha A. Burnworth, 87, North Webster, died at 5:15 p.m. Nov. 8, 2007 at The Oaks Living Center, Columbia City.
She was born Feb. 14, 1920, in Marion, to Leslie and Emma Wolfe Wagoner. On March 30, 1951, in Marion, she married Thurman Lee Burnworth, who died in 1989.
She attended Marion Schools and moved to North Webster in 1956. Moving to North Webster in 1956, she was a homemaker.
Surviving are two sons, Gregory L. (and spouse Bonnie) Burnworth, Winona Lake; Jon D. Burnworth, North Webster; a daughter, Leslie A. (and spouse Dan) Rex, Columbia City; 13 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; two sisters Mary D. Burns, Marion and Leatha (and spouse John) Werstler, Pierceton, and a brother Merritt (and spouse Mary Jane) Wagoner, Gas City. She was preceded in death by five brothers and a sister.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, Columbia City with Pastor Bryan Kooney officiating. Burial will be in Mock Cemetery, North Webster.
