Marjorie L. West, 97, Warsaw, passed away at 3 a.m. Sept. 10, 2014, at Mason Health and Rehab, Warsaw. She was born March 18, 1917, in Burket, to Walter Ray and Ercie A. Wierick Parks. On May 19, 1934, she married Arthur S. West, who preceded her in death Dec. 24, 1993. She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, living most of her life in Warsaw where she was a homemaker. She was a 1934 graduate of Mentone High School. She will be lovingly remembered by her two sons, Ron (and spouse Carolyn) West, Leesburg, and Michael (and spouse Judy) West, Milford; two daughters, Marjean (and spouse Dick) Saltsgiver, Bradenton, Fla., and Deborah Gittelson, New York, N.Y.; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She also was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Jim L. West, who died in 2000; a daughter, Marjorie Wolford, who died in 2013; and three grandchildren. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, with Pastor Rob Seawald officiating.
