HUNTINGTON – Marjorie A. Lowe, 90, Huntington, and formerly of Lake Tippecanoe, Leesburg, passed away at 3:30 pm. Sept. 25, 2015, at The Heritage of Huntington. She was born Dec. 16, 1924, in Huntington, to William Paul and Gertrude Elizabeth Coale Spencer. She married first husband, Richard Haines, father of her four children; and then second husband, Jack M. Lowe. Both husbands preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Clear Creek High School in 1942. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Huntington and Warsaw. She was a Life Master bridge player, former member of the Tippecanoe Country Club, and a Psi Ota club member. Survivors are: two daughters, Ricki (and spouse Bill) Roessler, Severna Park, Md.; JoAnne (and spouse Tim) McKinzie, Frankfort; two sons, William “Bill” Haines, Roanoke; and John (and spouse Diane) Haines, Indianapolis; two stepsons, Randy (and spouse Carole) Lowe, Gold Canyon, Ariz.; Patrick Lowe, Warsaw; two stepdaughters, Kristi (and spouse Bill) Hackleman, North Webster; and Kacy (and spouse John) Guilliam, Noblesville; 11 grandchildren: Wendy Reyes, Holly Bone, Sarah Gereghty, Christina Haines, Stephanie Haines, Mallory Klausmeier, Julianne Gould, Griffin Haines, Alex McKinzie, Sam Haines, Kyle McKinzie; six stepgrandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Bill Spencer; and two sisters, Edith Stout and Ellen Moriarty. Services will be at 2 p.m. Oct. 17 at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington. Burial is in Clear Creek Cemetery, Huntington. Calling is from noon to 2 p.m. Oct. 17 at the funeral home.
