Marilyn M. ScottBOURBON – Marilyn M. Scott, age 90, of Tippecanoe, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 19, 2023, in her home.
Marilyn was born to Thomas and Ruby Penn Paul on Aug. 7, 1932, in North Manchester. She was a longtime resident of the area and graduated from Beaver Dam High School. She married Edward Scott on July 5, 1953, and he preceded her in death on April 17, 1992. She worked in quality control and doing office work at Warsaw Coil until her retirement. She enjoyed reading, doing word searches and collecting porcelain dolls and turtles.
Marilyn will be missed by her sons, Douglas Scott, of Tippecanoe; Steven (Kim) Scott, of Argos; her grandchildren: Stephanie (Dave) Long, Amber Pittman, Heather Pittman and Trenton Scott; along with her seven great-grandchildren.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Ruby Paul; her husband, Edward Scott; and her sons, Mark Scott (8/19/2007); and David Scott (11/9/2021); her sister, Bettie Bigelow; and an infant twin sister.
Visitation will be held on Friday, Feb. 24 from 4 to 7 p.m. and on Saturday, Feb. 25 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, 115 S. Main St., Bourbon.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 25 at 11 a.m. at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, 115 S. Main St., Bourbon, with Pastor Kristin Harp presiding. Burial will follow at Summit Chapel Cemetery, Bourbon.
