Marie Mae Stark, 87, Warsaw, passed away at 6:03 a.m. Oct. 17, 2014, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw. She was born Nov. 25, 1926, in Claypool, to Lawrence E. and Alice May Cunningham Warner. On Dec. 12, 1953, in Converse, she married William Arnold Stark I, who preceded her in death. She was a homemaker. Survivors include a daughter, Betty (and spouse Billy H.) Poe, Warsaw; two sons, William Arnold “Billy” Stark II, Warsaw, and Herman “Wade” Stark, Peru; a sister, Betty Joann Bryerer, Claypool; two brothers, John Arthur (and spouse Linda) Warner, Anderson, and Eugene Lee (and spouse Sherie) Warner, Claypool; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert “Bob” Warner. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel with Pastor Carol Zumwalt officiating.
