Margaret “Maggie” L. Valentine, 80, Warsaw, passed away at 10:40 a.m. May 4, 2016, at Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center, Warsaw. She was born June 22, 1935, in Warsaw, to Floyd and Marie Hicks Fuller. She was married to Fred Matheny, who was her first husband. A husband, William “Bill” Valentine, preceded her in death. She has been a lifetime resident of Warsaw. She attended Warsaw High School. She enjoyed being with her daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They were her pride and joy. She also was committed to her faith in God. She was a waitress for over 50 years for many restaurants in this area, just to name a few: Pancake House, Digs, Pizza Hut and American Table. She is survived by four daughters: Jeanie (and spouse Terry) Craig, Judy Zorn (and companion Rocky Bays), Lisa Valentine and Sherry (and spouse Bill) Compton, all of Warsaw; a brother, David (and spouse Doris) Fuller, Warsaw; seven grandchildren: Melissa Craig, Brian (and spouse Kimberly) Craig, Steve (and spouse Melinda) Zorn, Krista (and spouse Chadd) Brown, Savannah Glass (and fiancé Gage Owens), Alissa and Gracie Compton; and three great-grandchildren: Sydney Brown, Peyton Craig and Bryson Bailey. She also was preceded in death by her parents and a sister. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Denny Bollenbacher officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
