ROCHESTER – Margaret Ellen Cutshaw Stanton died July 29, 2011, in Life Care Center, Rochester.
She was born Jan. 1, 1922, in Huntington County, to Arthur J. and Lucinda Sayger Cutshaw. On Aug. 2, 1941, in Crown Point, she married Edward L. Staton, who preceded her in death.
She graduated from Akron High School in 1940.
Surviving are two daughters, Jane (and spouse Rick) Hoffman, Rochester, and Debra K. (and spouse George “Skip”) Stanton, Lexington, Ky.; and Edward J. (and spouse Paige) Stanton, Raleigh, N.C.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester, with the Rev. Phil Pratt officiating. Burial will be in Athens – Hoover Cemetery.
Calling is from 4 to 6 p.m. today and one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
