SYRACUSE – Margaret Elizabeth "Margie" Rockenbaugh, 65, of Warsaw, passed away at 5:31 p.m. on Sunday, June 14 at Goshen Hospital.
She was born on June 16, 1954, in Goshen, to Arnold and Marjorie Maxine Cory Hall.
She was a lifetime Syracuse/Warsaw area resident and attended Syracuse public schools. She was married on Dec. 26, 1970, in Syracuse, to Thomas Warren “Rocky” Rockenbaugh, who preceded her on Nov. 7, 1994.
She was formerly employed at Heater’s Engineering in North Webster for 14 years and the Lighthouse Restaurant in North Webster as a waitress.
She is survived by two daughters: Christi (Shane) Staley, of Warsaw; and Sara (Garry) Church, of Syracuse; four grandchildren: Lane, Dylan, Kennedy and Rilley; four sisters: Bitsie Ann (Jim) Murphy, of Fremont; Martha Ellen Atkins, of Mishawaka; Mary Burns, of Warsaw; and Becky Jo (Fred) Hewitt, of North Webster; two brothers: Harvey Monroe (Deb) Hall, of North Webster; and Arnold Vern “Pete” Hall, of Warsaw.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Frances Jean Hamman; and three infant brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17 at Owen Family Funeral Homes, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 18 in the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery in Millersburg.
