SYRACUSE - Margaret Eileen Kolberg, 80, of Syracuse, died at 8 p.m. Oct. 25, 2008, in Miller's Merry Manor, Syracuse.
She was born Sept. 23, 1928, in Kosciusko County, to Olen and Chloie Hoover LeCount. On May 22, 1948, she married Arthur Berton Kolberg, who survives.
A lifetime area resident, she was a homemaker and retired from Johnson Controls, Goshen, in 1993. She graduated from Wolf Lake High School.
Also surviving are a daughter, Becky Kay Mangan, Columbia City; two sons, Eric (and spouse Lynn) Kolberg and Doyle (and spouse Cynthia) Kolberg, all of Syracuse; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Jeannette (and spouse Cripe) Lee, Syracuse, and Beverly McDonald, Cromwell. She was preceded in death by a sister.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, Syracuse, with Pastor Hubert Schmucker officiating. Burial will be in Syracuse Cemetery.
