MILFORD – Margaret B. Ostendorf, 101, Milford, passed away Aug. 8, 2015, at Miller’s Merry Manor Assisted Living, Warsaw.
She was born July 2, 1914, in Prairie County, Ark.,  to Emory Wright and Theresa Evaline Lewis Bedell. On Aug. 13, 1939, she married Joe H. Ostendorf Jr., who preceded her in death in 1997.
She was a high school graduate and went on to receive her degree from Arkansas Polytechnic College. In 1961, she moved to Milford from Lafayette, and made her home. She was an elementary school teacher and she worked with her husband in the Diagnostic Lab in Milford. She was a member of the Warsaw Church of Christ, Warsaw Bonsai Club, the American Veterinary Medical Association Auxiliary and volunteered as a Red Cross Grey Lady.
Surviving are a son, Joe Michael (and spouse Hazel) Ostendorf, Warsaw; a daughter, Natalie (and spouse Stanley) Stump, Milford; five grandchildren; nine great -grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and three brothers
Calling will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday at Mishler Funeral Home, 461 W. CR 900N, Milford, IN 46542. A private cremation committal will take place at Legacy Cremation and Remembrance Center.
