NAPPANEE – Mardell J. Berger, 88, Nappanee, died peacefully surrounded by her family at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 3, 2015, in her residence. She was born Jan. 1, 1927, in Bremen, to Arthur and Helen Wells Heckaman. On March 19, 1950, in Nappanee, she married Dale Berger who preceded her in death Oct. 20, 1993. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, with the Rev. Jim Davidson officiating. Burial is in Bremen Cemetery.
