Celebrate National Go Skateboarding Day with the Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department at Mantis Skate Park.
Hours are noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 21 at Mantis Skate Park, 400 Little League Drive, Warsaw.
All ages are welcome.
The Parks Department will be giving away a door prize, handing out goodie bags and treating participants to ice cream from 3 to 4 p.m. (while supplies last). You must be present to win the door prize.
Helmets are mandatory, and a waiver and emergency contact form must be completed in order to skate. If the Parks Department doesnt’ have them on file yet, don’t worry — forms will be available for you (or a parent/guardian) to fill out on site or can be found on the website at https://warsaw.in.gov/225/Mantis-Skate-Park
Sponsors Papa John's, Sterling Contracting and Linda Chastain made this free event possible.
