On March 29, Warsaw Police officer Samuel Weaver responded to a report of a fight in progress at Schultz’s address. He arrived to find Schultz bleeding from a large cut on his jaw and was being helped by his brother, Tyler Schultz, after an altercation with another relative.
Tyler had cuts on his hand and a bump on the back of his head.
Zachary was taken to Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne for treatment to his injury.
The relative was treated at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne for two broken ribs, a punctured lung and cuts to his head as a result of the fight, according to court documents.
The male relative told police he got into an argument with Tyler and Zachary, and they both began punching and kicking him while in the garage until he was able to leave the garage and police arrived.
Warsaw Police officer Jeffrey Ticknor spoke with Tyler, who said he got into an argument with the relative and that Zachary attempted to intervene.
Tyler admitted he punched and kicked the relative, and that Zachary joined in the fight.
