A Pierceton man is facing a misdemeanor charge for allegedly following girls around a trailer parker and telling them to not wear bras.
Donnie D. Lynch, 63, of 3104 E. Wooster Road, lot 26, Pierceton, was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail at 5:41 p.m. Monday and faces a Class B misdemeanor charge for inappropriate communication with a child.
According to the police report, on March 19 deputies with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office were requested to speak with a juvenile girl who wanted to report inappropriate comments being made to her and her friends.
Upon police arrival, according to the report, the juveniles told police they were playing outside and a man wearing a camouflage jacket that they call “Fred” kept following them around and that this wasn’t the first time he’s done that.
In a video one of the girl’s took on her cellphone, police reported they could hear the man telling the girls to stop wearing bras.
When police went to the suspect’s trailer and asked for Fred, a woman who answered the door said no one named Fred lives there and that her husband’s name is Donnie Lynch.
Police spoke with Lynch, and according to the report, Lynch said he had been walking around in a camo jacket earlier but that he gets “picked on” and that the kids that live in the park started calling him Fred last summer. Lynch also admitted he asked the two girls if they had boyfriends and that he “might have told them to wear white T-shirts so he could see their boobs.”
