Makula CFO Celebrates Joining Kosciusko Chamber With Ribbon-Cutting

Posted

Makula CFO had their ribbon-cutting with the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, July 9.
The owner, James Makula, has been a part of Kosciusko County for years. A graduate of Tippecanoe Valley High School, Makula grew up in Kosciusko County and has lived within it for all but three years. He has lived in Warsaw for the last eight years.
“I do controller, or (Chief Financial Officer) work for small businesses that can’t afford or don’t want to hire a full-time person to fulfill that role,” said Makula. “I run financials and do some 13-week projections … to help them make decisions.”
Makula started his company around May 15, as a way for him to re-engage with the community.
“I’ve done controller or CFO work for about the last eight years … and I work remotely for another company. I like working remotely, but I felt so disengaged with the community. That’s what led me to starting my own company,” said Makula.
