The Magical Meadows will host its signature fundraising event, Rise Up 2026, on Thursday, April 23 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the 41-acre farm, inviting the community to an evening of inspiration, entertainment and impact.
Guests are encouraged to dress in “diamonds and denim” for the event, which blends a relaxed, fun atmosphere with a powerful mission, according to a news release from The Magical Meadows. Attendees will enjoy a live bluegrass band, dancing and a variety of new live and silent auction items. The evening will also feature local radio personality Chris Cage of Willie 103.5 as emcee.
New this year, guests will receive an exclusive first look at The Magical Meadows’ newly constructed west arena, part of the organization’s ongoing expansion to meet growing community needs.
“This event is more than just a fundraiser. It’s a celebration of the lives being changed here every single day,” said Michael Kuhn, Magical Meadows executive director. “As we continue to grow, the support from Rise Up allows us to reach more individuals and families who need a place of hope, healing and connection. We’re especially excited to give our guests a first look at the new west arena and share what’s ahead for our future.”
In addition to new experiences, Rise Up will continue to offer the elements guests have come to love, including therapeutic horseback riding demonstrations (weather permitting), opportunities to meet the horses, inspiring stories of impact and food and beverages provided by Farmhouse Events & Catering, the release states.
Proceeds from Rise Up 2026 will directly support The Magical Meadows’ mission to provide a natural, welcoming space where individuals with physical, cognitive and emotional challenges — and their families — can experience the healing power of horses.
Organizers have set a fundraising goal of $120,000 for this year’s event, which will be critical in sustaining daily operations and supporting continued program growth in 2026. The organization is expanding its reach to serve more individuals with disabilities, at-risk youth, veterans and first responders across the region.
Tickets are $100 per person, or $800 for a table of eight. The organization is also still seeking live and silent auction items to include in the event.
