SOUTH BEND - Mabel L. Glover, 99, of Grace Village, Winona Lake, formerly of South Bend, died at 8:04 a.m. March 12, 2008, in her residence.
She was born Sept. 12, 1908, in Silver Lake, to Schuyler and Katie Butjer Collett. On June 24, 1950, in South Bend, she married George H. Glover, who preceded her in death.
She was a service observer for Indiana Bell Telephone Co. for more than 41 years. She was a member of South Side Church of God, South Bend, where she taught Sunday School. She was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America.
Surviving are two sisters, Mary Dorothy Perry, Winona Lake, and Esther Fruit, Westland, Mich. She was preceded in death by a sister and three brothers.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, South Bend, with the Rev. Greg D. Crump officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger.
