Lyman Junior Fry

SYRACUSE - Lyman Junior Fry, 83, of Lake Wales, Fla., and formerly of North Webster, died at 3:48 p.m. July 21, 2007, in Lake Wales Medical Center.

He was born May 18, 1924, in Fort Wayne, to Lyman C. and Martha Kumfer Fry. On Sept. 8, 1991, he married June Winesburg, who survives.

He lived in North Webster for more than 40 years coming from Fort Wayne, and wintered in Lake Wales for the past 16 years. He retired from Essex Wire, Fort Wayne, as a wire enameler and was a World War II Navy veteran. He attended North Webster Church of God, where he was active in the Men's Prayer Breakfast, and also attended South Lake Wales Church of God.

Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Rick (Rene) Filkens, Fort Wayne, and Mrs. Joseph (Theresa) Krizman, Syracuse; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Roger (Hali) Buhr, Fort Wayne, and Mrs. Michael (Autumn) Ballinger, Fremont; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, a daughter, three brothers and two sisters.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Aug. 16 at North Webster Church of God with Pastor Jeff Boyer officiating. Burial will be in North Webster Cemetery, Mock Addition.

Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, Syracuse, is in charge of arrangements.
