SYRACUSE - Lucile K. Weaver McMeekin, 94, of 7784 E. CR 150N, Pierceton, died at 8 p.m. Dec. 22, 2009, in her residence.
She was born Feb. 7, 1915, in North Webster, to Stanley and Edna Shoemaker Weaver. She married John McMeekin, who preceded her in 2007.
She retired from the ASC office in Warsaw after 32 years of service. She also was a homemaker. She attended Pierceton United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a brother, Royce Weaver, Pierceton; three nieces: Sharon DuBois, Wabash; Marsha Vandewalker, Churubusco; Barbara Harrison, Syracuse; and a nephew, Ray Weaver, Pierceton. She was preceded in death by a brother, Ward Weaver, and her parents.
Services were today at Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel. Burial was in North Webster Cemetery.
Calling was two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
