Loves WCC

Editor, Times-Union:

A couple of years ago I wrote a letter to the Times-Union that they printed about Denny Wilson and I'll repeat it again. He is a great speaker in getting the word of God out and how it's suppose to be interpreted.

Being the teacher he is of the holy word of God is amazing. Denny started out, as I understand, about 17 years ago in the area with only about nine to 15 behind him and his ideals about a church to serve people of all walks of life. He has taken Christians and molded their life into more than they had before.

As for myself, my life has changed. I don't worry, my faith is stronger and I do now what ever I can to help our church regardless of what is needed. I've cleaned sidewalks, painted for Sonlight (children ministries). Well, only until I filled in part-time teaching Sonlight did I finally get it. Our children are the most important thing to make sure that they grow up knowing Jesus and He is the best friend there for them at all times.

But WCC does more than what people don't know about. For example, on movie night, no matter if you go to WCC or not, you're welcome just as if you were a regular member. WCC does so much for the Kosciusko area and beyond, from Africa to Honduras to Katrina. They cover all the bases they can.

There are many great churches in the Warsaw area. As long as you go and get something out of it, then God bless you. I've been going for more than eight years and love every Sunday service.

Yes, we're a feel-good church, as it should be. I know after the the service I feel better about myself and others as I'm not perfect like no on else is, but Denny's messages last for days, weeks and even years if you take in what he tries to get across. If you are looking for a church or not happy with yours for whatever reason, I strongly suggest you try WCC at least once.
