Lorraine Kovar

SYRACUSE – Lorraine Kovar, 85, of Leesburg, passed away May 15, 2013, in her residence. She was born May 11, 1928, in Chicago, Ill. She married Larry Kovar Sr., who survives. She moved to Barbee Lake full time from Chicago 20 years ago. She was a member of Shepherd by the Lakes Lutheran Church, Syracuse. Surviving are three sons: Kenneth (and spouse Linda) Kovar, Colorado; Matthew Kovar, Bourbonais, Ill.; and Larry Jr. (and spouse Bernice) Kovar, Leesburg; three daughters: Mary Ann Schmeski, Portage; Elaine Kovar, Willmington, Ill.; and Laurie Wagner, Leesburg; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy Lesneski. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Shepherd by the Lakes Lutheran Church with Pastor Jerry Winegarden officiating. Burial will be in North Webster Cemetery, Mock Addition.
