Lorraine E. Swanson, 91, Warsaw, passed away at 8:45 a.m. July 31, 2015, at Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center, Warsaw. She was born July 3, 1924, in Baldwin, Wis., to Oscar and Christina Nelson Thoen. In June 1967, in Ringold, Ga., she married John Swanson, who preceded her in death in 1970. She was a resident of Pierceton for 49 years and a homemaker. Survivors are: a daughter, Judie Kroeze, Barron, Wis.; three stepchildren; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by two daughters, Karen Radtke and Linda Larson; three brothers and two sisters. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Chaplain Denny Bollenbacher officiating. Burial is in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
