Lorraine Berggren, 86, of Elkhart, died at 11:45 p.m. April 14, 2011, in Kosciusko Community  Hospital, Warsaw.   
She was born Dec. 4, 1924, in Chicago, Ill., to Joseph and Louise  Fellows Rutkowski. She married Holger R.  Berggren, who preceded her in  death. 
She was a secretary at Schultz Warehouse for many years and a member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, D of I and the Women’s Democratic Society.
Surviving are two  daughters, Maryann Penninger, Elkhart, and Jeanine (and spouse Kris) Doub, Pierceton; two sons, Gary (and spouse Betty) Berggren, Hesperia, Mich., and Richard Berggren, Hutchinson, Kan.; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers and six sisters. 
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church with Father Glenn Kohrman officiating. Burial will be in St. Vincent’s Cemetery.
