Lorraine A. RainfordNORTH WEBSTER – Lorraine A. Rainford, 56, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 10:56 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2019, at her home. She was born on Oct. 21, 1962, in Gary, Ind., to William Dean and Evelyn Ann Rolfe Bennett Sr.
She graduated in 1980 from Andrean High School in Merrillville, Ind., and was married on Sept. 28, 1985, in Portage, Ind., to John W. Rainford, who survives. She moved to the Warsaw/North Webster area 25 years ago from South Haven, Ind., was a homemaker and worked as co-manager for Pick A Spot Campground near Barbee for the past 25+ years.
She formerly attended the Nativity of Our Savior Church in Portage.
She is survived by husband, John Rainford, of Warsaw; two sons, John (Brittany Mock) Rainford, of Warsaw; and Mark (Samantha) Rainford, of Huntington; three grandchildren; brother, William (Melissa) Bennett Jr., of Syracuse; niece and nephew, Ann and Willy Bennett.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 11 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd 13 & CR 500N, North Webster. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 12 in the funeral home. Graveside services will take place at 1 p.m. (C.S.T) on Tuesday, Aug. 13 in the Calvary Cemetery, 2701 Willowdale Road, Portage, Ind.
