Lola V. Littlejohn, 74, of Warsaw, died at 4:56 p.m. June 4, 2010, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

She was born March 26, 1936, in Santa Ana, Calif., to Clemente P. Steppe and Harriette Zimmerman Pritchard.

She was a resident of Garden Grove, Calif., until moving to Warsaw in 1977. She was a final inspector at DePuy until retiring in 1993. She attended Celebration Church and Warsaw Community Church. She was a member of the Stroke Support Group at the Beyer Building and volunteered with seniors at the Pete Thorne Senior Citizens Center. She loved working with children at Warsaw Community Schools, gardening, crocheting and spending time with family, friends and her beloved cat "Pookie."

Surviving are six children: Tony (and spouse Sue) Pickett, Paula (and spouse P. Rae) Powell, Paul (and spouse Sue) Powell, Sande Zorn (and Carlos Orejuela), Don (and spouse Michel) Bryson and Ron (and spouse Sabrina) Powell; 12 grandchildren: Brandi Gross, Sara (and spouse Jeremy) Grenert, Autumn (and spouse Seth) Rife, Allison Powell (and Nick Duff), Paul Jr. (and spouse Rachelle) Powell, John Powell (and Kelly Warstler), Kari (and spouse Travis) Brown, Carmen Powell (and Tim Grevenstuck), Mathew (and spouse Cherie) Zorn, Jason (and spouse Krystal) Zorn, Garrett Zorn (and Megan George) and Jenna Macalusa; 44 great-grandchildren: Brittany Powell, Daniel Howard, Jordan Powell, Sammi Gross, Cody Gross, Zack Grenert, James Grenert, Madison Rife, Jayda Rife, Nicolette Duff, Vincent Duff, Tyler Phend, Justin Powell, Stephanie Powell, Rylie Powell, Nathan Powell, Kristi Haley, Robert Haley, Shayna Haley, Kayla Haley, Elijah Haley, Dalin Powell, Cole Powell, Macy Powell, Phoebe Powell, Jaylnn Warstler, Jake Warstler, Christopher Brown, Skyla Brown, Brayden Brown, Sandra Chambless, Steven Chambless, Isaiah Chambless, Nathaniel Chambless, Braxton Grevenstuck, Andrew Grevenstuck, Dominick Macaluso, Anthony Macaluso, Dominick Macaluso Jr., Thomas Zorn, Taylee Zorn, Michael Zorn and Isaac Zorn; and two great-great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Landon Howard. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Powell Tackett.

Services will be at noon Wednesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, with Pastor Cindy Gackenheimer officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday at the funeral home.
