COLUMBIA CITY - Lois V. Lee, 91, of Columbia City, died at 12:35 p.m. Jan. 20, 2008, in The Oaks Living Center, where she resided since Dec. 14, 2006.
She was born Dec. 13, 1916, in Monroeville, to Herman and Opal Marquardt Brown. On April 18, 1938, she married Dallas O. Lee, who died April 13, 1998.
She graduated from Monroeville High School in 1935. She lived in Fort Wayne until 1943, moving to a farm south of Pierceton. In 1968, she moved to Brooksville, Fla., but spent summers at Smalley Lake.
Surviving are a daughter, Judy (and spouse Don R.) Kreider, Columbia City; two sons, Eddie (and spouse MaryLou) Lee, Columbia City, and Phillip (and spouse Linda) Lee, South Whitley; seven grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son and two brothers.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City, with the Rev. David Wagner officiating. Burial will be in South Whitley Cemetery.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
